In 1950 the clinic was established by Dr. med. Karl Lohmann on Ravadistraße in Bocholt. Dr. med. Raoul Bongartz took over the clinic in 1977. In 2001 the clinic was moved to Ostwall, then in 2015 to Dinxperloer Straße. The contact between Mr. Bassel Kanafani and Dr. R. Bongartz was supported by the regional medical network BOHRIS. On July 1st, 2020, Mr. Kanafani took over the clinic. Dr. Bongartz stays in the clinic and takes care of the medical Assessments.
Mr. Bassel Kanafani worked previously for 15 years in various clinics in his home country and in Germany, most recently as a consultant in internal medicine and geriatrics at the Westmünsterland Clinic. He speaks German, Arabic and English as well. Equipped with modern technology, he would like to help the people who trust him with their health, with the best of his knowledge and belief on the basis of his extensive experience.
